In Ireland, you may be eligible for an SEAI grant of up to €2,100 for your home.

Who is eligible for Domestic Solar PV Grants?

SEAI Solar PV Grant for up €2,100 for the installation of Solar Panel and Battery Storage Systems are available to all homeowners including private landlords.

Your home must meet the following criteria:

- Home built and occupied before 31st December 2020
- No previous funding for Solar PV at this MPRN

How do the grants work?

The grant works as a rebate and is received 4-6 weeks after install. SEAI have brought in a pre approval scheme which gives the customer the peace of mind and guarantee of receiving the grant before any money is handed over. If eligible you will receive €800 per kWp up to a maximum of 2kWp without battery. You will receive €250 per kWp above 2kw up to a maximum of 4kWp.

For domestic SEAI grants, pre-approval takes 30 minutes and grant payment can take up to 6-8 weeks after installation. We ensure all grant paperworks is completed and uploaded within the first few days after installation so you can receive your grant payment as quickly as possible.
