We help people to create a better life through green energy.

We started Home & Agri Energy with the goal of providing high quality solar energy systems and expertise to homes and farms around Ireland.

Unlike most solar providers, we were born from a genuine passion for renewable energy. This love for the technology has helped them to deliver enormous value to home and farms around Ireland.

Whether it’s providing the clarity around if solar is a good fit for your home. Or providing a high quality system that will do the job you need it to. Or helping you with the financial aid.

Helping people to create a better future through solar energy comes in all shapes and sizes.

We go the extra mile to ensure a high quality installation and product. Every system is fully customised and tailored to each property. Never taking shortcuts that will cause you hassle down the road.

We treat every system as if it were our own. We want you to have full peace of mind throughout the entire process. Knowing that if you need help, before, during or after the installing, we will be there!

Meet the Founders

John Lowry

Sustainable Energy Engineer

John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering and earned his experience as an energy engineer in Ireland before heading to Australia to gain valuable knowledge on the solar industry, working as a Solar Consultant in both Melbourne and Sydney. He spent over 3 years working in Australia before he decided to head home in 2019 to bring Solar PV to Irish homes and farms across the country. John believes that we have only scratched the surface here in Ireland with what we can achieve with Solar PV.

Billy Mulcahy

Solar Specialist & Electrician

Billy started his electrical career at a young age, working weekends with his father who is a registered electrician. Having completed his apprenticeship and worked with Kirby Group for 4 years, he went to work in Australia in 2018. Here he began to specialize in the solar systems. He met John through the solar industry in Australia and they have worked together since.
